TECHNOLOGY (5/SEPT/2012)

Technology: is the use of science to solve a problem.

 Invent: means to make something for the first time.


Example of Technology:

 SCIENTIFIC METHODS (SEPT.3.2012)

This days we are talking about the scientific methods.

 The Scientific Methods have five important steps.

 1. Ask a question. (Hacer una pregunta.)
 2. Make your hypothesis: A posible answer to the question. ( Hacer una hipótesis)
 3. Do your test. (Haga una prueba/ experimentación)
 4. Collect and record your data. (Recoger y escribir datos)
 5. Tell your conclusion. (Llegar a una conclusión).


  Example (Ejemplo)

  ASK A QUESTION  (1)

  Do seed need water to grow? (¿Necesitarán agua las semillas para crecer? )

 MAKE YOUR HYPOTHESIS (2)

 Seeds need water to grow. (Las semillas necesitan agua para crecer.)

DO YOUR TEST (3)

Put in two different pot the same quantity of seeds. In one you will irrigate water in the other you will not irrigate. (En dos diferentes tarros introduce la misma cantidad de semillas. A uno de los tarros lo regarás con agua, el otro no.)

 COLLECT AND RECORD YOUR DATA (4)

Observe what happens with the two pots and write down your observation. (Obervar qué sucede con los dos jarros y escribir tus observaciones.)

TELL YOUR CONCLUSION (5)

What happened in the end? Here you tell what you observe and confirm if your hypothesis is correct.
(¿Qué pasó al final? Aquí dirás lo que observaste nuevamente y añadirás confirmando si tu hipótesis  
es correcta.)
